She never thought about her. No one spoke of her mother. Gena never knew why. All she knew was that when she was little her father went to prison and her mother died. She didn’t even remember her mother, not one memory. It didn’t seem that bad to her that her mother was dead, and the fact that she never had a mother didn’t seem to bother her.
